October 9th, 2012Oct 5th Fri. A Mud hole trip produced Slammer Bluefish and plenty of Albacore.
October 9th, 2012Dave and his crew from Franklin Lakes NJ caught Albacore and monster Bluefish, and then started catch and release. Then we pulled anchor and moved a few miles to the Monster Ledge. Set up a shark slick for a couple of hours, but had no takers.
Wed Oct. 3rd. This Crew never stopped blitz fishing for Albacore and Slammer Blues!
October 4th, 2012Tues, Sept 25th. Back to the Mud Hole and more blitz Albacore fishing!
September 26th, 2012Alberto and his Non Stop Fishing Crew from West Nyack NY scored big time on the Blue Chip. Upon arriving on the fishing grounds, Wayne the Mate was giving some advice to the crew, when a big albacore,came right up to boatside and grabbed a bait. That type of blitz fishing continued all day, and these guys never quit fishing!

September 26th, 2012Sat. Sept. 22nd. Mud Hole fishing on fire for Albacore and monster Bluefish.
September 26th, 2012The Blue Chip ran fast to the fishing grounds, read the fish on the sonar,and set the anchor. Within seconds O.J. and his buddies from Ma Ha, Ohio were fighting with Albacore,(Little Tuna) and monster Blue Fish. They filled the cooler, and then went into catch and release!
Sun. Sept. 16, 2012. An offshore trip to the Mud Hole produced big Albacore and plenty of them!
September 17th, 2012Charles and his buddies from Cloudersport, PA had some great light tackle action on Little (albicore) Tuna in the Mud Hole. We Kept the chum light and laced with spearing, so our catch was all  Abies. This crew never stopped fishing. They were like” fishin machines.” After the cooler was filled we trolled some lobster pots for Mahi.

September 17th, 2012Sunday, 9/9/12 The weather was iffy, but it turned out to be a beautiful day with lots of fish caught on our trip to the Mud Hole!
September 10th, 2012Sat. 9/8/11 was a blowout, with High North Winds to 30 Knots. We picked another Charter date.
September 10th, 20129/7/12, Fri. An offshore Mud Hole successful charter, caught Mahi, Little Tuna and Monster Bluefish!
September 10th, 2012Phillip from Jersey City and his guest from Hamburg Germany have fished in different countries and states. This year they dicided to fish New Jersey on the Blue Chip. They were not dissappointed as they Caught Mahi, Little Tuna, and Monster Bluefish steadly. Then we got into catch and release for three Hours!
September starts off with good fishng! Blue Chip fishermen and women beat up on big Bluefish, and Little Tuna.
September 10th, 2012The week of Aug 31st, 2012 had the Blue Chip real busy.
September 3rd, 2012Fishing was good during the week of Aug. 31st. Five ” Blue Chip Half Day Special” charters and one full day trip caught Blue Fish, False Albicore, Bonito, Mahi, Sea Bass, Trigger Fish, Fluke, and Sharks.
Sat,8/25/12. Trigger Fish and Sea Bass on a half day charter.
August 27th, 2012Aug. 18, 2012 Clear Blue water and Big Bluefish on an offshore reef.
August 19th, 20128/15/12 Wed. The Blue Fish were slow getting started, because of the calm clear water. But when they started we got into catch and release!
August 15th, 2012Jack and his family from the Windy City are vacationing at the Jersey Shore, so they chartered the Blue Chip for some Blue Fish action. We stopped the boat and anchored on some strong fish readings. The water was extremely clear and calm, and the blues were very cautious. But when they started biting, they came on strong. Then they would back off for a while, and come back strong again. After catching all we wanted, we went into catch and release.

August 14th, 2012Matt and his family from Fleetwood PA Had an Excellent day of fishing on the Blue Chip. We headed off 17 miles to the Bluefish grounds, anchored up and within 2 minutes we were bailing monster Blue Fish. When the cooler was full, we headed back inshore for some banner Fluke Fishing.

August 14th, 2012The Blue Chip crew has been so busy we have not paid attention to our fishing reports. So rather than play catch up, here are some phots of some recent trips.

Overall fishing has been good, even through all that hot and humid weather. Big Bluefish are abundant. Shark fishing is good,with the water temp at 80 degrees Hammerheads and Tiger Sharks have joined the party. Sea bass, Trigger fish, cod, and Blackfish are biting good. Fluke fishing is hot one day and cold the next, but should improe to a steady bite soon.

July 5th, 2012Ray and his family (Frances, Karli, Ray Jr. and Adam) from Manalapan NJ Caught a Monster Thresher Shark on the Blue Chip. We were fishing an offshore wreck, while Sharking at the same time. The Thresher jumped clear of the water four times during the fight, what a sight!

Fred and his Crew from Staten Island NY fought a 200 lb Thresher Shark for 45 minutes, before bringing it to boatside! We were fishing with both 30lb and 50lb tackle at the time. Guess which line the big shark took? Yep, The 30 lb one. It took longer to catch, but it was more sporting ????????
