Thanks again to the loyal support of you, our customers (fishermen and women). As always, we are constantly upgrading the Blue Chip for your comfort, and upgrading our fishing gear so you can catch the big ones, with a minimum of effort.

We are adding a brand new set of Penn inshore rods and reels! You guys and gals just  wore the old ones out, catching so many fish. The interior cabin has been outfitted with new cushions for all of the seating, and a new refrigerator to keep your food cool and tasty.

The Blue Chip crew will be back from Florida in April, all charged up for the Striped bass, Mackerel, and  Flounder fishing. Please book your charter dates early, so we can accommodate  your choice of dates.

To demonstrate that we are “VALUE DRIVEN” there will be no rate increase for 2012! The blue Chip crew caters to first timers, beginners, and hard core seasoned fishermen.

Big Striped Bass are back in force!   Joe and his family from Denver CO,  limited out on Striped Bass, with a few monster Bluefish thrown in for good measure. They are bringing the fillets back to Denver for some good table fare.

Chris and his crew from Wilmington DE, caught Albacore, Blue Fish and Sharks for the dinner table, on an offshore charter to the Mud Hole.

Jack and his party from Bridgewater NJ  Boated plenty of big Albacore and Bluefish on an offshore trip to the Mud Hole. Co0lers were filled for the trip back to the dock.

Joe and his crew from Perkasie PA,  left the dock at 6AM and headed up to the rocks for striped bass. No bass were boated as the Blue Fish took over big time. We moved a couple of times, but the big hungry  Blues kept beating the stripers to the baits.

COREY AND HIS CREW FROM PAIGE, TEXAS WERE SCHEDULED FOR AN OFFSHORE MUD HOLE TRIP.  DUE TO THE GREEN WATER ALGAE PROBLEM WE ARE HAVING OFF THE NJ COAST, WE DECIDED  TO SWITCH GEARS AND DO SOME BOTTOM FISHING IN THE AREA. THAT TURNED OUT TO BE A GOOD CHOICE, AS THE CREW CAUGHT SEA BASS, LING, BLACKFISH, COD AND FLUKE.

Joe and his son from Manahawkin NJ wanted to catch a shark on a half day charter. We Steamed to a local wreck and set up a slick. Before long little Joe was fighting a shark and catching it. As a bonus he also bagged a big fluke!

Bob and his family fished the river. the tide was right and they really banged the fluke to three pounds.

On the afternoon half day  charter Darren and his buddy’s cleaned up on big sea bass, while fishing on an inshore wreck.

Tony and his crew from Blandon, PA caught lots of small sea bass, and fluke on the morning  half day charter.

On the afternoon half day charter trip Bev and her family.from Lodi NJ fished inshore and Caught keeper fluke, big sea bass and sand sharks.

Jenifer and her family from Wilmington, DE  fished the river, and caught lots of fluke, with a fair amount of keepers.

JULY 30, 2011    SAMANTHA AND HER FAMILY FROM SANDYSTON NJ HAD A GOOD DAY OF FISHING FOR SEA BASS, WITH LOTS OF KEEPERS AND THROWBACKS.

JULY 29 2011   WITH  LUKE AND HIS FRIENDS, FROM MOUNTIAN TOP PA, WE TRIED TROLLING BLUEFIN TUNA IN THE 20 MILE AREA WITH NO SUCCESS. THEY CAUGHT MAHI AND LARGE BLUEFISH.

JULY 23RD 2011      JUSTIN AND HIS CREW FROM PA. HAD A GOOD PULL OF SEA BASS AND LING, WHILE FISHING  A WRECK.

JULY 21, 2011    VERY FOGGY ALL DAY, UNUSUAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. NICK AND HIS FAMILY WANTED TO GO SHARKFISHING, BUT NOT IN THAT FOG. NOT GOING TOO FAR FOR THAT REASON, WE MADE OUR WAY TO AN INSHORE REEF, AND CAUGHT BIG SEABASS, COD AND MONSTER BLACKFISH.

JULY 20, 2011     WHILE ENJOYING BEAUTIFUL WEATHER,  JOSE AND HIS CO-WORKERS FROM LAKE HIAWATHA, NJ CAUGHT A MIXED BAG OF MAHI, LING, BLUEFISH, AND SEA BASS.

John and his family from Princeton NJ caught a mess of sea bass until they stopped biting.  Then we went for fluke, but no keepers were boated. (18 inches)

Bob and his family, from Sellersville PA caught plenty of sea bass on a half day charter special. We had to move the boat around a lot, but we had fish on every drop.

Doug and his bachelor party crew from Willow Grove PA, Caught a load of Sea Bass on the local rock piles. We had to move around to different spots to put a catch together, but it paid off with some big fish. After dead low tide, we started after the fluke.  Lots of action, lots of close ones, but no keepers. (18 inches)

Bob and his crew from Normandy Beach NJ had a very active half day charter, trolling Bonito and cocktail Blues. We had numerous multiple hookups, sometimes catching four at a time. Wayne our mate cleaned them up and iced them down, for some real good picnic fare.

Les and his crew from Lebanon, PA. charted the Blue Chip for a shark trip, but when we got offshore there was no breeze and no drift. Sharking would not work under those conditions. While we waited for a breeze to start we started trolling and caught some big blues ,big  bonito, mahi and mackerel.  The wind was not coming this day, so we anchored up on a wreck and caught big sea bass, monster blackfish, big codfish, and a monk fish.  That sure is  a large species count for one trip!

Jim , a rancher from Colorado visiting his grandchildren, took them on a half day charter for sea bass and blackfish. We had to move three times during this trip, but we put a nice catch together.

A half day birthday party charter for Kevin saw constant sea bass action, with a mix of  big black fish (cant keep em yet) and ling.

June 28th.   A shark charter with Darrel and his son from Michigan and Nicky from Brooklyn, produced no sharks, but plenty of big bluefish. We had no wind to speak of, and therefore no drift.  To make a shark slick work right some wind is very important. But it did not stop the big blues from attacking us.

We had a busy three days. In three days of tournament fishing Fri, Sat, and Sun. We caught 21 Sharks in all, including 3 mako sharks, but none were large enough to win any prizes. All three days we got whale shows that were something to watch, including tuna breaking water all over.
